Intro

My family and I moved into our "new" home here in Omaha in January of 2013. I've pretty much always lived in newer homes, but we happened to fall in love with a 90 year old craftsman bungalow. It is in fairly good shape, having only two previous owners. Regardless of condition, owning an older home certainly comes with its own set of challenges. I will be documenting our strange finds, cool features, projects, and struggles as we attempt to make this house "ours," while maintaining some of the character inherent to the style of the house.
